Step 5: The last step is simply buttoning up the enclosure. We fill any gaps between panels with expanding foam and install the subfacia. The result is an extremely tight and clean enclosure that is ready to be roofed.

A final note: Our enclosures are typically blanket enclosures -- we do not usually cut window and door openings. We've found that it is more economical for the general contractor or homeowner to cut the openings, given the cost of maintaining a crew on the road. In addition, a blanket enclosure allows the homeowner to adjust window and door placement to fit their desires and needs exactly -- good plans are wonderful, but there's nothing like standing in the structure itself when it comes to placing that window just so.
